  1. They also said there were 28792 at the Millwall game though.
  2. Sounds like he has a hag 😆
  3. 3 but 1 less because they have shown that they are reducing their losses. It was under 2m and if what they are claiming about their charity contributions counting towards their loss is true then if anything the EFL have been harsh. The timing reeks but let's be honest we deserve to go down and they don't. Let's just hope this shocks the board into action which us hanging on by our fingernails on a technicality might not have.
  4. Storey is a total fraud. One of those Walter Mitty types that probably couldn't afford to pay for a box for a year. He somehow managed to sponsor one of the F1 teams without actually handing over the money with a drinks company that sells no drinks. His comment on us was pretty funny though.
  5. He is going go to have to invest soon, if he can. He has run out of things to take loans out against.
  6. The golf course should be the first thing to go. That's just an obscene waste of money
  7. Credit card maxed out. Job lost and new job has a quarter of the salary.....
  8. He's the son of a very successful business man. That's it. He inherited the business and has been pushed aside because even their monopoly that he was running is in a mess. If you needed a plumber or an electrician would their unqualified son do if he turned up just because his Dad knew what he was doing?
  9. Yes, true, which looks like it will be even more protective for the bigger clubs and worse for teams like us.
  10. Top isn't running King Power. He has been forced aside. The days of King Power bailing us out appear to be gone. They have someone in now to try and clear up their mess. Getting him to sign off on 100m plus for Seagrave isn't gonna happen even if the money is there, which it probably isn't. He's in there to be financially responsible.
  11. Joking aside PSR and Mike Ashley could really suit each other. Personally, I wish they would do away with PSR as it is doing the complete opposite of what it is supposed to but Mike Ashley would probably do well as an owner of a club if the PSR rules stay.
  12. Imagine that, if we sold Seagrave to Forest.... sickening. The thing is we have borrowed heavily at high interest rates against future income to the point where there isn't seemingly anything left to borrow against. We owe a lot of money for transfer fee instalments. The owner said yesterday he would "try" to keep funding the club. Our player values will have dropped massively, so we don't have much hope of big transfer fees. Even the stadium is in a seperate company. If it was any other business the board would be looking at selling assets so there could be something in this. If Marinakis came in and put 100m + on the table for Seagrave are they in a position to say no? The interest costs alone in the last accounts were around 9m for the year. That's more than most league one clubs wage bills just in interest payments.
  13. He has done a very good job at Lincoln but the only concern would be it's only at one club and they are very well run. It's hard to tell if they have been successful because of him or if he has been successful because the rest of the club is very solid with great ownership. He would be walking into a mess here, the complete opposite to Lincoln. I don't think we are in a position to take a punt on it being all him. Any manager is a gamble but we could be one wrong appointment from financial oblivion if we don't get it right. Having said that Rudkin will probably advise that we give it to Rooney or someone like that and we will be in trouble anyway in which case he would be a much better option.
  14. Challinor is a good shout. He did a great job under very difficult circumstances at Hartlepool and may have taken Stockport as far as he can. He wins games. We definitely shouldn't go the ex player route.
  15. I admire the optimism but the main reason we are in this mess is that so many of them thought that even the Championship was beneath them but couldn't find anyone to take them so they basically downed tools whilst taking a huge wage from us. That isn't going to change now they are League 1 players, if anything it will get worse and more toxic. Nobody is taking the players we want to get rid of for the same or more money in a league that they feel they should be playing in. Saudi are reducing their spend on a lot of sports and they are only allowed a few foreign players in the squad anyway. If you were managing a rich Saudi team and could only sign a handful of foreign players would you sign Vestergaard? One of the teams didn't even register Darwin Nunez having spent a fortune on him because they needed to register Benzema and didn't have the squad space. No Saudi team is signing Vestergaard or any of the players we want to get rid of nor is a Premier league side and anyone thinking he or they will do the honorable thing and leave to save the club money is in cuckoo land.
  16. Not ashamed but feels like a relationship that has gone from being completely in love to struggling to be in the same room together. It is so hard to care about something that the other side is completely destroying and doesn't seem to care at all about. I'll never be ashamed to be a Leicester fan though as the people ruining it will leave eventually and then hopefully we will get our club back. This too shall pass and all that.
  17. It could be this and maybe Rudkin is a kiss arse who tells him he's great all the time and knows how to play on his ego. Having seen the interview Top gave it reeks of him being surrounded by yes men who tell him everything is going great and nobody is there to call a spade a spade.
  18. Them being on the pitch with the trophy and pictures of the king was odd but didn't really bother me at the time as we were having success. The thing is though, by doing that, they absolutely have to be accountable when things go wrong like they are. Now it really bothers me as it's all a bit Brendan Rodgers. All him when it goes well and everyone else when it goes wrong and nobody should be able to make any criticism. It should go both ways.
  19. He's a massive cock but yes he does know what he is talking about.
  20. We don't want him anywhere near the club but that doesn't mean that he isn't right about the mess we are in. He's absolutely spot on with the criticisms of the club but yes he is a chancer. He probably knows so much about the club as he is a vulture waiting to see the next big club likely to die so that he can form a consortium to nick it, strip it and flip it.
  21. We have a hotel/health club/spa and a 9 hole golf course that we operate without any customers. We have players who whilst they probably had relegation clauses this time around when we got relegated from the Premier League almost certainly don't have relegation clauses for a drop to league One as our owner had never entertained that possibility. It's not any business. You could well be looking at having to plug 20m + in losses a year, probably more. The club itself in league one is not worth much more than a years worth of losses. That is where the problem comes in. A fans consortium doesn't cut it anymore sadly we basically need a Billionaire owner who's main business is thriving or essentially start again.
  22. Absolutely. The interview with Top where he said that the relegation from the Premier League was a total shock has set off all sorts of alarm bells. Clearly he has not even considered us going to League One. With King Power being run differently now the chances of them funding the losses we would inevitably make as a League One club are slim to none. We are running out of future revenue to borrow from Macquarie against and once the club becomes worth less than the money we owe we could end up in all sorts of trouble. We could always find a buyer in the Championship for an amount that would probably cover what is owed who is willing to invest enough to get us back to the Premier League but as a League One club we could be heading for liquidation. It's starting to look very likely that unless we are sold or unless Top/KP appoint someone competent as a Chief Executive to run the club and put more money in that we are heading towards administration or worse liquidation with our eyes shut.
  23. He started in the FA Cup final and didn't put a foot wrong at 19 years old. I don't disagree with you at all, he has been terrible, but how has our coaching been over the last few years for a player with that much talent to go backwards so much?
  24. Exactly. It's not even just sorting out the team we need someone who can come in and sort out the way the entire club operates, it's a total mess. That will take someone experienced and with a big presence.
