While I have been posting, I have been fighting a shocking  depressive operation.

I have had my own " great escape"..the Doc, told me,99%  sure they got it all out.

unfortunately. It was cancer of the kidney, so the tumour has meant , it took my kidney with it.

The 1%...control they still have to clarify.

I just want to say a big thankyou to this forum, and all posters..It was/has been my outsiders relief.

Whether , I disagee, or agree with opinions, its great to see other perspectives and opinions!!

I obviously worried about my wife and our children, when , it was thought to be a simple kidney stone or absess,

Then I have to tell them of the true diagnose, the pain which they try and hide, comes through, but we got through,

also with our wry, crazy humour, but when I was alone the depression was eased, by using , reading this forum..

fearless Leicester fighters,..we cant lose....Thanks guys n gals:scarf:.

Mods if I posted wrongly, then just move it, to another topic.

I still hope to carry on with my weird posts and opinions but for the next month, I will be drifting in and out..

As a fighter of cancer twice mate, well done, getting through the ops and treatments is very hard, and you cannot explain how hard, the fight is still on mate, just allow the down days, you been through a lot, and I don't just mean physically, the battle with the mind is hard.

Really pleased your in remission, keep up the good fight, my fellow survivor

So pleased for you pal.

Should have got back earlier, but I've been tied up with having my own treatment started...

Three cycles in now and, fingers very much crossed, have had no 'nightmare' side effects, save a few hours of uncomfortable heartburn on the day after 'chemo'!. Actually feel much better for it...from eating virtually nothing for 3 months.. (lost 18kg), now have appetite like a horse lol! 'Better half' cut all my hair off, "To lessen the shock of it falling out".....Turns out my drug cocktail don't cause hair loss...haha!

Hope your recovery continues and that the future for you is a brighter one!! Promise I'll do my damnedest to follow suit !

Stay positive mate, good luck to you.

Am doing Ronnie.. Support and goodwill from far around helps enormously to do just that! I have a great employer, the best bunch of workmates you could hope for, loving family and just THE best of 'better half' !

Obviously, the mere format of this forum means that we're mainly unaware of who each other are, just sharing opinions of our common 'passion'. That said, the sheer amount of 'good luck' messages I've received from members all adds to the 'positivity' tank...Bit of a battle on for sure, but the sheer number of folk attending the Osbourne, many of whom are in a far worse 'pickle' than I am, shows things in a truer light!

As on FB, I'm NOT going to 'diarise' things. Won't be popping up with weekly updates, (not in my persona), but I WILL be taking the kindness  and positivity of everyone along on my journey. See you all at the other end !

Leicester boy, (albeit turned 'yokel')... Don't know the meaning of 'defeat'...Not gonna happen.

Thank-you.....And everyone else too !

I admire your positive outlook Worthington, I wish you a full and very speedy recovery.
