There will be departures which will bother many fans & departures who will not be missed. I am resigned to losing Mahrez & possibly Drinkwater but if recruitment is good, which is wasn't last summer, then we will hopefully be a half decent side. I don't see us in a relegation battle but we probably will not be troubling the European spots either. Whoever is brought in must slot into the camaraderie of the squad & on the evidence of this years signings this has happened. In Shaky we trust. In Shaky yes - but a workman is only as good as his 'tools'. Is our Recruitment System and the personnel charged with this competent enough to find the correct replacements?? Or will they simply just go down to 'Screw-Fix' and take the first thing they see off the shelf?

There's an argument to say some of it has been lost (Clappers!) but honestly I think the owners have done a great job and retained a lot of it. Shakepeare has been with the club for what is it - 10 years? King has been with us since League One, Morgan, Mahrez, Vardy, Drinkwater, James and Kasper were all with us in the Championship. It would have been super easy to throw all this away and bring in lots of continental players, change the club colours and call us Leicester Power FC lol. In fact I would say that one of the reasons why we achieved so much success is that the owners kept what was good about our club and made it better. When Sousa and Sven were here, it looked like we were going to be the Man City of the Championship. Matt Mills, Beckford, et all meant we were paying the most and trying to buy our way back up. It wasn't us and it didn't work! Then we went back to what did work, brought Pearson back, got that infamous team spirit back and the rest as they say is history.

Don't know about now. He's continued to be scouted regularly as we seem to do with a lot of our players anyway.
