ScouseFox Posted 18 September 2017 Share Posted 18 September 2017 if anyone can be arsed, watch gomes (watford's keeper) on goals on sunday talking about vardy's penalties at the weekend. he's got a great record of saving penalties and has faced a vardy penalty too. he said you'd never just stand still, and the fact he runs up to the ball at full speed in a straight line means it's impossible to read what's going to happen and it all happens so fast you're never gonna save it. basically the complete opposite of the "european" mahrez style stutter walk up to the ball. run, kick it dead hard, score. easy.
