I do find it weird that we gave both him and Shakey 3 year deals. Not as if either was in massive demand was it lol

This stuff about him being boring seems such an overreaction to me but we'll see. And I keep saying it but we were shite and boring anyway!

Just had to wait to see how we managed today ... because I think you hit the nail on head, we had become very ordinary even boarding on boring at times! I think the three year deals are attempting to establish a settling future under which the players can work within ... but the flip side to this is the settlement costs if it’s decided to move the manager on early, coupled to the dreaded uncertainty for some players if the new incoming manager doesn’t see them in the future plans!

He immediately put his stamp on the team. That's the difference between a coach and a manager. He brought an end to the myth that we can't start Gray and Mahrez together. Having the most talented players on the pitch means the opponent can't focus on just one of them. It is obvious that the team must get used to this formation changes and the second half wasn't great but we're in for a small revolution. To hell with hoofball.

I'm convinced that he'll get Mahrez to stay and will build the team around him. Chillwell, Maguire are the future and he'll take care of them. With Silva coming in january we'll have a team that has to be reckoned with.
