Nationwider Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 Yay just found a cadburys eclair in my bag. Loving it! Yesterday, I found an old tin of Baxters Carrot and Coriander Soup (b/b4 end 2003) under the seat of my car. I thought my exhaust was dropping off - turns out it was soup making the noise. I think your food-find was better.
Hitesh Posted 14 October 2005 Posted 14 October 2005 That's the student spirit! You wouldn't have been able to face the washing up afterwards, anyway. but i wouldnt have done it anyway. There are two flatmates who love to clean so i leave most of it to them. Kebab and chips for £1.50!!!!!! but that wouldnt be healthy and wouldnt help me recover quickly! Definitely no chips!!! I recommend buying some chicken bits (with bones, e.g. legs) and sticking them in water, boiling the whole thing with onions (perhaps carrot and celery), black pepper, salt, chilli ... until you get a nice broth. Needs to boil for quite a while. Seems to work for colds. Plus you can get several meals out of it. Just a thought...
