Yes I know that, every transfer or rumoured transfer has a figure/guesstimate regarding what they will be earning and totally accept it's easily accessible  but I hanker for times when this info wasn't so readily available.

Dinosaur I know :D

I read your posts and just think you are made of Marshmallow. You are just too lightweight for most things to be honest. Are you scared of your own shadow?

How do you know it's accurate unless you actually know certain players salaries and can make a comparison?

Because I believe they use all the scouts and agents around the world to paint the picture. Cant really give you a definitive answer I just know its not far off perfect.

Assuming that is true, I'd be furious if I was Hamer getting a mere 12k per week for not playing, when Musa gets paid 5 times that amount to not play

Poor Benny H only earn £624k a year. How can he survive on that wage? #prayforben

Sadly we haven't paid their wages for years now. Let's say we get 25k Season ticket holders at £500 average (rough numbers I know), so that covers us signing Harry Maguire minus a limb. That leaves the wages paid by the Thai's and big Rupert. Sad as it is, we have very little claim to the 'we pay your wages' stance anymore.

Who pays him?

Haven't you seen how much it costs to view PL football over the past decade or so

Also, if the players didn't earn that money, it would all go in the businessmen's pockets... that why I don't care what they earn... unless a big contract affects performance, in the way Iheanacho looks like he doesn't give a shit now

As a Leicester City supporter I purchase club merchandise, pay for tv subscriptions, tickets for match days when I visit Leicester.  Percentages of those purchases go to the club in turn which pay for player wages.  I think more than a few people on here would agree with me that as supporters we pay for players wages through our support for the club and we are allowed to be curious as to what the wage structure is like for the club and its players.

What are your views?

Well my view is that the contracts/salaries/bonusses of individuals at City are none of our business. Because you buy a certain toothpaste or other product does not entitle you to get a look into contracts of the employees or management of Colgate. And I don´t see why this should be different at a football club....

So when the club went into administration and almost went bust, finances of the club then shouldn't have been a concern to fans either?

Yes of course its a concern of the fans  -  it just doesn´t entitle you/me to get a look into the finances - unless you are the investor with the money.

A question: What will you do with the information? Will you sit on the fence and shout out your disapproval of the salary levels? Will you critizise management publicly if you do not approve of the levels? Or a you just curious?

Would you want a look into the strategical planning of City too?

I don´t really get your point....

I'm a curious fan, who is interested in how much the players of the club get paid.

Going forward with new rules introduced by the premier league, financial fair play, salary/contract conditions etc. More and more information regarding player contracts will be coming out in the public.
