I was wondering what the players actual wages are per week and year.  I managed to find the following on the internet, but not sure if it's accurate.  Anyone else have other information that is different?

Gut reaction is that's pure pony.

 

Vardy is on over 100 Ryiad can't be far away either and kasper must earn double that figure suggested.

 

Plus I'm told kingy earns 40k

 

And we'e recently had an article claiming musa earns 115k now I hope that's not true but he didn't leave Russia for a pay cut.

It will likely be an educated guess rather than reality, this hasn't come from a Leicester City leak.

 

The first one is obviously complete rubbish although the second one looks feasible.

I live in Canada and work for the public sector.

Available online are the wages of public sector salaries in a searchable database, anyone who knows I work for the public sector and my name can see how much I earn.

But most peoples salaries ARE easilly accessible unless you are some big shot wife killing banker.

 

More to the point most people arent even on salaries they do hourly paid jobs whereby you can find out the rate anywhere.

 

And besides all of that, WE PAY footballers their wages so we have every right to know.

Yes I know that, every transfer or rumoured transfer has a figure/guesstimate regarding what they will be earning and totally accept it's easily accessible  but I hanker for times when this info wasn't so readily available.

Sadly we haven't paid their wages for years now. Let's say we get 25k Season ticket holders at £500 average (rough numbers I know), so that covers us signing Harry Maguire minus a limb. That leaves the wages paid by the Thai's and big Rupert. Sad as it is, we have very little claim to the 'we pay your wages' stance anymore.

I must admit I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I saw that. There are often different numbers quoted as bonuses are sometimes included, just to add to the confusion.

 

115k basic would surely be too much, so I'm betting that's with appearance money (which he isn't earning a lot of), at a minimum.

This stance is so commonplace and it grates somewhat. Feels quite entitled. 

 

It's like saying 'without oxygen you wouldn't be able to breathe let alone play football, so you have oxygen a lot to be thankful for.'

Football is popular. Leicester is a big city. 

 

Our fandom is a given and I couldn't care less what our players earn.
