Finishing 7th is but the cup winners of the two domestic cups isn’t. I’m assuming that’s what @Voll Blau means. 

 

We’d need the two cup winners to have already qualified for Champions League for 7th to be a route into Europe.

Us finishing 7th and both cup winners being the top six teams is 10-15 times more likely than us winning the FA Cup.

I wasn’t disagreeing with that, I was saying what he meant with the ‘it’s in our own hands’ comment.

"In your own hands" is a throwaway comment though.

 

If I had to beat Anthony Joshua in a fight or could pick someone else to fight him Game Of Thrones style to save my life? I'd rather pick someone like Tyson Fury than have it "in my own hands" by fighting him myself.

I was answering your first question. I agree about the FA Cup and wasn’t looking to be clever. Finishing 7th is of course, in our own hands but EL qualification using that route isn’t.
