Possibly - I also think that palace had better players  than their league position indicated and better than the other 2 . Of the managers who lost their jobs at these clubs I thought Bilic was the best

Like quite a few of Leicester's managers had an outstanding elite pedigree and bags of experience when they were appointed ... Bloomfield (Orient), Brian Little (Darlington), O'Neill, and Pearson. But at the time they were all young managers on the way up. Lambert seems to have reached a level, and I never expected him to get another appointment in the Premier League.
