Birch's run, 5th May

Every year I help out Alan Birchenall from Leicester City with his annual charity run. I get a team of collectors together to shake a bucket on behalf of the Foxes Foundation. Over the years, this charity has raised £2 million for worthy causes. The run this year is taking place on the 5th May, so if you have a spare couple of hours, we would love you to help. This man is a club LEGEND sure he will push it way further than he should an I wish him all the best.

He's definitely a 'legend', no-one can dispute that surely.

If, after he retired, wasn't involved with the club and its charity awareness events etc, then I would've just seen him as another LCFC player that was successful on the field during his playing time at the club - but he's much more than that for certain.

I spoke to him yesterday and he was in the gym preparing for the run. Tell you what, the man has guts. Did you know that 5 days before the Everton game in 2016, he had his first heart attack and still ran anyway

No please just walk -he looked a bit weary at midnight  in Grannys in 1982 so must be well tired now.
