Current death toll for homicides in London in 2019 is already at 19, after a 17-year-old dies after a park stabbing attack.

If the government/local residents fail to intervene more, 2018's homicide rate of 135 in the capital could well be sadly surpassed.

Unfortunately it has appeared, in recent times in many areas of England, that stabbings etc have been frequently on the local news bulletins/online news services.

In some ways, a bid to reduce further knife crimes currently seems quite impossible - probably thousands of knives etc are purchased on a daily basis by the general public and don't think the 'no knife sale to under 18's-21's' rule in shops selling them are effective enough as anyone older can buy one put it in a draw at home etc and anyone could take it from there/ various other locations and commit a crime like the above.
