Too many players leaving would only unsettle the rest of the current remaining squad.

Would rather do it slowly, with more urgent areas such as right-back done first.

We could just let contracts run down. By summer next year, Hamer, Benalouane, Simpson, Morgan, Fuchs, Okazaki and Huth will no longer be employed by the club. Summer after: Mahrez, Vardy, Albrighton, Amartey, Jakupovic and Choudhury.

Wouldn’t want to lose him, but is it possible Albrighton could be tempted by a move away? Especially if Villa get promoted and come calling. Puel favours youth and might be happy with Roberts, Gray, Diabate plus one other..

Dunno about Albrighton, but if it was me and a club who let me go for nothing after putting in decent performances for them came crawling back, then I wouldn't be that interested to be honest,

The squad needs to be unsettled.

If they aren't likely to play first eleven again then they're of no real use.
