Chelsea play Southampton in their FA Cup semi-final LESS than 72 hours before the above Thursday night Premier League fixtures. The FA Cup is Chelsea's only chance of silverware while it looks very unlikely they can finish in the top four for a Champions League place. Southampton presumably will be fighting for points to avoid relegation.

As a Burnley fan I'm hoping Chelsea field a weak team and "rest" their best players like Hazard and Willian. Add in some typical northern weather and I'd be quite confident of a result if Chelsea are not 100%.

Leicester should comfortably beat Southampton on paper, but I don't think Hughes will rest  any players for the semi.

The league is more important to Southampton than it is to Chelsea. Out of the two Burnley have the easier game.

Same was said against quite a few teams at home, but we seem to struggle against anyone who just sits there waiting for us to break them down
