We do have two academy prospects who might make it in Luke Thomas and Calvin Ughelumba but a gamble to have as sole back up right now. Maybe that's why we are being linked with right backs as Ricardo could easily play left back if needs be. I think he's a very able back up if he stays and what money we have this summer will be aimed at buying more priority players if we can possibly get them ie Tielemans or a similar type and a striker. Players like Fuchs, Armarty and Mendy are more than adequate cover in the circumstances I think. We'll perhaps need another summer window though to fully realise more of the European ambitions. Little by little whilst hopefully improving and avoiding selling some of our great young prospects.

In League One. At 24 years old he needs to have been playing regularly to carry on developing, he has now had a full season where has has done next to nothing.
