Legend_in_blue Posted 30 April 2018 Posted 30 April 2018 We now need 3 LBs at the club because neither that we have are consistently good enough and neither of them will leave.
Heymister2015 Posted 30 April 2018 Posted 30 April 2018 People seem to forget Chilwell is young and needs games/experience to make him a better. Instead every mistake is seen as he’s useless get rid

Great guy, start him the last game. at people saying he should be in the team ahead of Chilwell though. Neither are great but I'd rather have Fuchs. If Chillwell had a brain it'd be dangerous.
The Wizard Posted 1 May 2018 Posted 1 May 2018 Oh..ok..the Thread title is a little rude.....! Seems a decent sort of bloke.. I hope the clothing line picks up soon... thanks for the title wining season mate. Cheers all the best....
desertfox2 Posted 1 May 2018 Posted 1 May 2018 Wish he would teach Chillwell the long through. Useful weapon for a full back
Lovejoy Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 Why is he staying another year!? Staggering he is only 32, the decline has been incredible.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 Almost psychological with him. Originally this was meant to be his last season, now it's next season. He's dwindling down his playing days, more interested in focusing his efforts on what he's doing away from the pitch. Love him and he's a legend but it's time to move him on as well.

He doesn’t want to but he also doesn’t want to tear up his contract with little recompense from the club. currently posturing between the two sides..........
baldeagle Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 He is one of a few players that look like they have deteriorated quickly . Problem is I don’t think he and the others were every that brilliant it was just that one season where it just all clicked

He can leave in June if he tears up his contract. That leaves him in the same position as if he had refused it. He’s just trying to maximise his pension .........

It’s a contract. What’s Mahrez doing here if it’s that easy?

The Wizard Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 He struggled today but would not be match fit or sharp so respect to him...
lgfualol Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 Looked unrecognisable today. Really struggled. Joined the Ben Hamer club of being paid to be a banter merchant
Weller Wing Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 I thought he was one of our most positive players today. Not brilliant but who was?
Jimmy Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 Btw if Chilwell had ended up on his arse like Fuchs for the first goal he’d be getting slated, yet again Fuchs gets a free ride
Ian Nacho Posted 5 May 2018 Posted 5 May 2018 Think that's one of the worst games I've ever seen him have for us.
foxes21 Posted 10 May 2018 Posted 10 May 2018 Imo we’d look so much stronger with a new RB and LB. As Fuchs is staying and Chilwell unlikely to leave, what about signing a LB and using Fuchs as 4th choice CB? I know he’s not great at CB, but as 4th choice we won’t be reliant on him anyway, providing we sign a solid partner for Maguire.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 10 May 2018 Posted 10 May 2018 Should just go now tbh, idea it would harm his legacy leaving a year early after being one of our worst players this season wouldn't damage it in the slightest
MC Prussian Posted 8 June 2018 Posted 8 June 2018 In a recent interview with Planet Futbol, Fuchs re-emphasized his desire to play in the MLS and close out his career in the US, potentially switching to the NFL after that as a kicker: https://www.si.com/soccer/video/2018/05/29/christian-fuchs-play-mls The most realistic scenario would be him leaving in January in order to prep up for the 2019 MLS season. Cherish some more NFG until then.
st albans fox Posted 7 May 2019 Posted 7 May 2019 Mockery says that we are trying to get him to hang around for next season as cover for chilly.
