Mendy's yellow card

Does anyone know why Mendy was booked yesterday?  It was after we had been given a free kick, so must have been for something that happened just before

About 5 minutes before he had grabbed a hold of Hazard's arm as he was breaking free. The ref played an advantage although they didn't really get one and then booked Mendy the next time play stopped. It was a good foul actually as it was a dangerous break.

Didn't see it but I did see the massive jump into the air and fist pump from him when the final whistle blew. I like the guy a lot, not the complete package but if he was he wouldn't be playing for us.

...and yet he didn’t book the Chelsea player, can’t remember who it was who held Chilwell back when he was bombing down the wing with most of the Chelsea defence behind him. Inconsistency at it’s finest.

There was such bias yesterday, me and my dad couldn't believe it. Kante also pulled Maddison back on the break I think it was and didn't get booked.

As mentioned in this thread : great player and such a shock how this turned out. Could've been so, so different for the guy.

He preformed immensely yesterday, screened the defense excellently and put in some critical tackles. His presence also gave Ndidi and Hamza more freedom in the middle of the park. Didn’t really know what to think of him before, but defo a player worth having in the starting XI
