samlcfc1 Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 heskey is a very strange player one game he could look like mark de vries but another he could like like ronaldo
Guest Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 I'll never forget the way he (metaphorically) stuck two fingers up at McGee. What a game, what a guy
The People's Hero Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 heskey is a very strange player one game he could look like mark de vries but another he could like like ronaldo I must have missed both of those games!
Thracian Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Terrific player - in so many ways. Almost criminally under-rated. Will make an excellent centre-half later.

Steven Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 I agree Heskey has much more to offer than crouch Do I understand the mentality that would rather have Crouch over Heskey. No.

The People's Hero Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 I've played footy with Heskey. Brilliant player! Not Emile though! His brother. I've also played with him. Well against him in a friendly knock about. Good player though, as you quite rightly say.
Shipman Out Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 Im a big fan of Heskey we should all remember that he put his hand in his own pocket to give the club money when we went into admin (or write off a debt?) He is a good strong target man and i would love to see him play here again before he retires, i saw him play against us for Liverpool away and he was awesome, i think he was over priced but the monkey taylor wasted it anyway. He is playing at about the right level with Brum i wish him all the best and his old man who is a top bloke.
