The People's Hero Posted 21 October 2005 Posted 21 October 2005 I'm a fan of his. Always wished he'd use his strength and pace a bit more aggressively at times, but there you go. He was a large part of the reason that Claridge, Marshall and Cottee found the opportunities to score that they did.

I honestly believe he will finish his career at City, hopefully he'll still be half decent in 5 or 6 years time

What players would you all buy?

A defensive mid who can tackle and distribute and an attacking mid with vision, flair and an eye for goal!! ...Not too much to ask for is it?

We've got very similar strikers in Owen, Defoe and Rooney. We need the big striker. Not Crouch, he is rubbish. Heskey is exactly what we need. He will make the world cup squad.

Sven will see that we need him soon. He's realised that Crouch isn't good enough so now he'll look at Heskey. He might not score many goals, although it's not that bad, but it's his overall play that we need.
