So how do we solve a problem like the first 10 minutes?

Happened again today. Rashford should even have scored before he actually did. It's beyond a joke now. Why do we keep conceding in the first 10 minutes? And how do we rectify it?

This phenomenon is as old as the hills in football it seems, at least for some teams, without rhyme or reason. I remember as far back in the 80s, certain clubs' fans used to bemoan why they always had to go a goal or two behind before they started to play....no matter what....so I guess this bizarre rule of thumb applies to this particular Leicester team this season for reasons unknown : other than maybe teams knowing this weakness about us and exploiting it with their quick, 'get at us' from the first whistle tactics....

100% both of these comments.

If the crowd were singing and roaring away at the beginning of matches, it will inspire the players.

But all I keep hearing on TV out here are the opposition crowds singing and supporting their team, with our fans moaning and groaning from the kick off.

They only seem to wake up if we're winning. Even when we're playing well I just hear clear abuse shouted at players for 'not shooting' or 'not passing' or 'you're crap' etc, etc, etc.

Because our fans are creating a terrible atmosphere, which sounds toxic and poisonous and it MUST effect the players.

Look how the crowd helped us during our title winning season. It was our 12th man, and how!

It's having the exact reverse effect on the team now.

It's no wonder we're playing so much better away from home!

I do miss those days when the camera was bouncing up and down as the stadium shook

Now we just hear the stadium groan, and moan, and abuse!

If our home atmosphere doesn't improve soon, I can see our younger players wanting to leave, and it will effect other players signing for us.

I remember Steve Perryman saying that when he played for spuds in the '70's, potential signings were put off joining the club because the spuds fans were highly abusive towards players and it badly affected their confidence. (they are not that much better nowadays).
