fazzyfox Posted 23 November 2019 Posted 23 November 2019 Agree that it's due to whole team but it's all the more surprising when you consider how attacking our full backs are, it's not as if they just sit back and help us to narrow 1-0 wins. Tielemans is virtually right up alongside Maddison leaving just Ndidi as a DM, although he gets involved in all sides of the game. It helps that we're having a higher percentage of posession but the organisation and understanding look to be outstanding. It may get harder as the season goes on and our opposition have had plenty of opportunity to try to "suss us out" and try something different to the first meetings but then again so will we in nullifying them.

Brighton had zero shots on target today. We do need reinforcement in Jan though. Everytime Evans goes down our fans go into panic mode.

On the back of this, any stats on total shots for conceded rather than shots on target. One could argue the defence put them off to miss but think this would give a better picture. Genuinely don’t know if we top that table too.
