Scow Posted 13 September 2004 Posted 13 September 2004 Official Site It's been confirmed that Walker will be out for 4 weeks. It's so he can recover from a long term knee problem. Good news is that Tiatto will be fit for Tuesday.
SilverFox Posted 13 September 2004 Posted 13 September 2004 Bugger...you know just how to cheer a man at work up! I heard a rumour that Walks had sold his house and was fed up with Leicester completely. Someone Plllllease nip this rumour in the bud!

Its probably a load of rubbish...just hope it isn't true.
Ric Flair Posted 13 September 2004 Posted 13 September 2004 Walker lives in Surrey I believe. He always has done, he never re-located after his switch from Spurs to Leicester. It wouldn't surprise me if he was getting fed up with us and no doubt he'll walk away on a bosman in the summer. The worrying thing about Walker's injury is if we have to get a loan signing in as cover then it will end any hopes we have of signing Harper permanently as we're skint. I'd throw Logan in and hope for the best if Pressman can't hack it, perfect chance for us to unearth a young goalie as Walker's long term replacement. Why wasn't Dawson or Stearman on the bench on saturday, no need for 3 strikers at all. Another golden opportunity of giving one of them a try.

Where's the logic in that? Unless Micky really wanted to take the old Wimbledon tactics to the extreme.....

They'll both be on the bench tomorrow, if he just puts 2 strikers on the bench than you know who will be dropped. Wright.

I was surprised he put him on, it shows that perhaps Wright isn't completely out of Adams plans. I would stick Blake and Benjamin in the reserves and when they score 3 in 2 games, then they deserve a place on the bench.

Has the man no sense? What a disgrace, this man can do nothing right.

Mad Dog Posted 13 September 2004 Posted 13 September 2004 probably 2 players in the world have pay as you play contracts. And, you think Walker would change his £20,000 a week contract so that he gets less money if he's injured? AND, he's missed about 2 games in the last 4 years, so it's not like he's terribly injury prone. Jesus I don't know what goes through your minds sometimes. Do you think that every time someone finds a niggling injury they ****ing renegotiate their contract?

Ash Posted 13 September 2004 Posted 13 September 2004 Good News about Tiatto returning but shame about Walks , Pressman can do a job for u s , but i think MA should bring in a Goalkeeper on loan for a month , just to be on the safe side

If they aren't good enough why are they here. Let's trust MAs on this one. Besides bringing in some on loan would mean by definition another new face and what this team needs MORE THAN ANYTHING is STABILITY.

It was a bit of a spoof on the Mickey can't do anything right brigade.

If Logan was an international of any sort I'm sure the LCFC official site would have made a big deal about it!
