There are so many permutations to this run in.  It's uncanny how we have to play Utd on the last day of the season and Wolves play Chelsea. Worst case scenario is that Chelsea and Wolves could conceivably both finish top 4 if they draw that game.

Assuming the worst that Utd and Wolves win all their games until the last game, we need 3 wins from our next 6 to have any chance.  5 wins from 6 would virtually guarantee top 4 regardless of other results.

We need to focus, concentrate and work hard.  Give everything we have in this run in.  It's ours to lose.

There is a clip of Lampard and team member telling Chelsea to play it long against Man City. This is what we need to do, on occasions you got to lump it long and play ugly to win. It's all very well playing tippy tappy beautiful football but on occasions you have to mix it up a bit be more direct.

When we're on form with the slick, passing game we look sensational.

But when we're not - or other teams set up to frustrate us - we need to think differently.

Instead of Evans, Soyuncu and Ndidi passing to each other over and over, whack it in the channel, turn the opposition around, pin them in, hassle them into making mistakes in their defensive areas.

I applaud much of what Rodgers has done but sometimes we need to be smarter.

Stubbornness was a big part of Puel's undoing, we don't want the same with BR.

Is it stubbornness for the sake of it or an unfailing belief in how he wants to play leading to a positive outcome in the end.  we aren’t Man City and we don’t overplay when pressed and we do lump it forward in those instances ......it’s all about speed of pass ....that was puel’s undoing and since the return it’s been our issue. Controlling the ball, looking up and then passing it  (even square along the back line) doesn’t make spaces appear ......speed up the tempo and like magic, the opposition become stretched and madders etc find pockets to revive the ball  ...... That’s a confidence thing and it seems we are struggling in that respect ..
