BOYCOTT OF PAY PER VIEW GAMES

If Mike Ashley is calling out the PL for being money grabbers, it highlights there actually is a problem

What do you think about £4.95? I think it would fly off the shelves at that price.

That would still be £20 a month to watch all 4 games, but if the stream was of the same quality of the Amazon ones last year it would probably be a fair price, especially as you wouldn't have to buy / watch all the games.

I would pay a fiver to watch city. At that price, I would also keep my Sky sports subscription. If it was £10 though, I would probably get most games but cancel my subscription.

Before we all jump on the "well said Mike Ashley" bandwagon, Newcastle fans are still waiting for refunds from season tickets.

No way am I suddenly condoning him as a brilliant owner by any means. Simply wanted to highlight it's good he is speaking out about it.

Personally don't think we should be charged, but at a fiver I'd accept it as reasonable. You'd expect to see a lot more purchases for big games and club games at that.
