DesertFox Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Phew! Why can't we win 3-0 when we're 3-0 up? WHY do they have to put us through this? My nerves are just not strong enough for yet another season of this!
dhermon Posted 14 September 2004 Author Posted 14 September 2004 up to 11th so far with a few games still playing
Highland Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 3-2 F.T my poor old heart cannot take things like that :: 19023 Its not my heart...its my arse I worry about!
DesertFox Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Full time stats from LCFC website... different story to half time. dhermon Posted 14 September 2004 Author Posted 14 September 2004 they put in over double the number of crosses is a worry
SamuearlJackson Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 well, a win is a win is win let's just keep the ball rolling........... SamJ
SamuearlJackson Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 i am now becoming very optimistic...look at the next 3 or 4 games. they're all very winnable. then we have cov away followed by ipswich and stoke at home. if we can win the final two mentioned then we are likely to be there or there abouts in the automatic promo picture SamJ
Ash Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Just got back , What a game !.......1st half was a good half for us ! played well deserved the lead .2nd half Sheff Utd came straight at us , constanst attacks .Forgently we caught them on the break with a Wilcox goal....But we was under pressure for most of the 2nd half .They scored 2 sloppy goals , basic scrambles in the box ......Very nervous at the end but we pulled through well , Over all id say we deserved the win
Mark Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Good game. I was amazed at the way we passed the ball. Well done Micky for sorting that out it was a pleasure to watch, until the 70th minute. Jordan Stewart played a blinder Blake is a shocker. **** him off NOW.
filbertway Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 i Thought wright would come on, connollyy has missed another sitter now, will he score
Mark Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 i Thought wright would come on 19037 He should of done, Micky used the biggest insult he ever could of done though in bringing Nathan Blake on instead. He's an embarrassment.
Ash Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 I would of took Connolly off , brought Gemmill on .Then put Scowcroft up front , he could of holded the ball up for us
Guest Daniel Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 I dont think Micky knows ho w to do substitutions. I admit, he got everything right until the 70th minute or around there. Alot of the football was good to watch but he doesnt know how to do subs, he seems to bring the wrong players on and at the wrong time. 3-0 and crusing, should of had some fresh legs on, tommy wright on, tiatto about 70 minutes, not leave it till youve almost screwed it up. End of the day 3-2, 3 points in the bag, ill stop moaning!
davieG Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Is it just me or did anybody else find the whole atmosphere surreal, until they scored, even though we were winning 3-0 it seemed like some pre-season friendly with absolutely zero atmosphere, well apart from Warnock what a w$%*^r. LCFC OS described it as: "And Micky Adams' side would have to dig deep to hang on and claim the three points in a game that will be remembered by both sets of supporters for many a year to come". I'm sorryto say, although the performance was a massive improvement on recent displays it left me cold, passionless and will be instantly forgetable.
Craig Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Micky can't win, if he brought subs on (whoever they are) in the 70th min and we conceeded like tonight, you'd moan at him for changing it.
Guest Daniel Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 Well i would of said good atmosphere, some of the best atmosphere ive witnessed at the walkers for a while. Its wierd though because i say that and somebody 100 seats along probably couldnt hear us, shit ground for it i think.

So who do you blame for almost goiving 3 points away? a) the manager B) the players that the manager bought and trains everyday?

It was surreal. Some people shouting/screaming, some singing, some sitting down hoping. The sheffield fans were fantastic, they got them the 2 goals.
Craig Posted 14 September 2004 Posted 14 September 2004 The players. But we won, so it's all irrelevant really.
