In respect of the three older players I think the club will monitor their fitness/contributions over the course of this season and act accordingly after Xmas. The reverse might be true of the rest. They will wait until they can see where we are heading and the likelihood of another trophy/European football and any potential offers before deciding whether or not to put pen to paper. Don’t be surprised if Tielemans leaves his new contract until the end of this year before deciding on signing/rejecting

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kasper leave on a free for one last challenge. I doubt we'd stand in his way either.

Don't know why just can't imagine him ending his career here, I know he loves it has he's won stuff... but I just imagine him having a go at a big European club before hanging up his gloves.

For the FA Cup save alone he deserves to go to a European club and experience it over there.

I think what this transfer window has also taught us is its not that easy to overhaul the squad. 25 players might seem like a lot but there's quite a restriction on brining in players and being able to name them all without moving on some others who we might ordinarily try and keep.

We've had this sort of issue being unable to turnover the squad since we renewed the deals for the title winners. We rewarded them all so highly a lot of the deadwood just saw out their deals. Kingy - great servant that he was - was here an extra 2 years because no-one in their right mind would pay him or Matty James the wages we stumped up as a reward for them. A similar thing happened with Slimani and now Hamza and Mendy. Mendy would be a decent CM for a lot of low end Prem clubs and quite a few Europa clubs too but he's happy sitting in the stiffs on relatively silly money. You then end up moving on players like Praet and kids that have been "promising" for 3 years because it's the only way to accomodate new faces.

No a chance we will pay Youri £200K a week!

Some supporters been playing too much football manager on their computers

Well that's the type of figure I'd imagine he'd demand if he moved so we'd have to try and match it if he's going to sign a new contract with us.
