Has happened a ridiculous number of times this season.

To me it exposes what our problem is; a lack of urgency and a lack of motivation.

The only time we ever show it is when we become p*ssed off, immediately after conceding.

Then we revert to type. Passive, boring football.

I don't think it's Rodgers. This group of players doesn't believe it can make the top 4, and therefore has no carrot to chase.

No threat of relegation, no chance of top 4.

So we're left with a team that will pick up points against terrible opposition, the odd win when things go our way. And the odd draw on days like today when we're too good to be beaten, but can't be arsed to try to win.

Not really sure what the solution is. Identify those not giving 100% and replace with hungry players.

Imagine turning this concept in to a negative lol lol

I guess some fans prefer us either a) not to score to get back in the game at all or b) not do it at the right time lol lol

Wow.

Wow.

Oh come on. It's obviously a positive, but can you blame me for recognising that it exposes the underlying problem?

I obviously want us to score when we concede, but wouldn't it be nice if we showed that fire in our belly before we go behind?

100%.

But you've still turned it in to something to criticise the team for. There's worse things at hand to criticise them for, I think.

So I'm not allowed to use something that highlights a negative, if that thing is, in itself, a positive?

I don't think somebody would get praised for their first aid skills after punching somebody in the face.

Logik.

It happens partly because that’s when our opposition take their foot off the pedal for a few seconds. Barnes’ goal was pretty nice today though. Could be a contender for November goal of the month for the club. Not sure there will be many to note at the Chelsea game on 20th given our current form.
