BenFilbert Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 I love Little Britain but don't understand why people laugh at Catherine Tate. Just not funny. Her Children in Need thing was just awful! What do you lot think?
Cat Burger Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Both rubbish. I still like Walliams and Lucas though, love Rock profile.
BenFilbert Posted 21 November 2005 Author Posted 21 November 2005 Both rubbish. I still like Walliams and Lucas though, love Rock profile. At least you don't like Catherine Tate. "Am i bothered?" No i'm not Catherine, you are crap!
Head Honcho Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Although the 1st show in the new series of Little Britain wasn't the best i think there is better to come. Catherine Tate on the other hand is about as funny as Cancer. 2 or 3 good sketches at most which just isn't good enough. Give Lee Mack his own show he's the funniest comedian around just now, who incidentally gave Catherine Tate her big break in his Edinburgh fringe show
Cat Burger Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Little Britain is spent... Bring back Mr man and the hypnotist!!
Stuliasz Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 I don't like either, both garbage in my opinion. They just don't make them like they used to.
Babylon Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Both repetitive crap.... in Catherine Tates case, rip off of Little Britain repetitive crap. Give me Peep Show any day of the week.
BenFilbert Posted 21 November 2005 Author Posted 21 November 2005 Both repetitive crap.... in Catherine Tates case, rip off of Little Britain repetitive crap. Give me Peep Show any day of the week. You must be joking!
Babylon Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 You must be joking! No. You think it's crap, I think the ones you like are crap. Nothing wrong with that.
Babylon Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 No. You think it's crap, I think the ones you like are crap. Nothing wrong with that. I would also add that I think they appeal to different age groups. Little Britain is more for your 14 to 21 yrs. Peep show for your 21 to 35s, as it is more situation based. (Not exclusively these ages obviously) I'd guess you are about 18.

Peep show for your 21 to 35s, as it is more situation based. (Not exclusively these ages obviously) I'd guess you are about 18. I never said there was anything wrong in liking it. I just don't find it funny. I know you said "Not exclusively these ages obviously" but my dad is 43. He loves Little Britain. My mum is 45. She loves Little Britain. My Grandpa is 75. He loves Little Britain. I don't think just it appeals to those ages at all. I think all ages can enjoy it. That is what i think.
Babylon Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 I don't think just it appeals to those ages at all. I think all ages can enjoy it. That is what i think. Hence me putting "not exclusively these ages". I'm saying Peep Show is more likely to appeal to someone my age as it is based around situations that are more likely to have happened to me than you. When I was younger I would have found Little Britain funny, I have grown up quite a bit and don't really think doing a sketch about an old woman wetting herself in a supermarket is very funny. Each to there own, variety is the spice of life.

Cat Burger Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 LITTLE BRITAIN IS FUNNY TO PEONS WITH LOW IQ'S
BenFilbert Posted 21 November 2005 Author Posted 21 November 2005 LITTLE BRITAIN IS FUNNY TO PEONS WITH LOW IQ'S I thought you said you didn't find it funny? Sorry, i must have read that wrong.
Libertine Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Little Britain is poor now. It was alright at first, but they just repeat the same jokes over and over again, and it doesn't help with people saying "Yeah I Know" all the bleedin' time. Catherine Tate is good, but I don't find the Granny at all funny, or the "Am I Bothered?" girl.
Head Honcho Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Yes you read it wrong - Peon. Us mere Peasants he means!
BenFilbert Posted 21 November 2005 Author Posted 21 November 2005 Yes you read it wrong - Peon. Oh you do enjoy Little Britain.
Guest Gist Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 I think little britain is much better catherine tates children in need sketch was just sh*t!!
The People's Hero Posted 21 November 2005 Posted 21 November 2005 Both are mediocre at best and shown on tv to death. Also repeated by idiots in everyday situations. Peep Show as has been mentioned is worth a watch as is another show I saw a few nights ago and found amusing but have now forgotten the name of. Anyway, that's my tuppence worth.
