We're on for about 50 points this season which will more often than not see you finish 12th. Which is pretty appalling but we're nowhere near relegation and never will be with this quality of squad. People going on about us missing 15 million defenders, yet most weeks we've been able to put out a defence that's better than most you'll see in the bottom half.

 

Relegation or the threat of it should no longer be our barometer for failure.

40 points won't be needed this year but we'll manage it. As Dan said, I think 2 wins will be enough to keep us up this year anyway, especially as we'll have a much better GD.

You asked a ridiculous question, I gave an answer.

It is embarrassing that our support simply cannot hack a bad result or two with our melting down and starting threads like this. 
We all wanted to be up there challenging this season, we’re not quite there, due to injuries to key personnel. But we are still more than competitive in this league. We are not even close to being in any sort of danger. 
Do you react like this in your day to day life? As soon as you get a little set back, fall apart and think the world is ending? I find this sort of attitude embarrassing.
