Beat Leeds and we can probably relax. Go for it in the Europa conference thing. Get little Wes back and build for next season.

City really need to find Jonny Evans understudy/replacement. That's the priority for this summer - that and finding the new Tielemans.

Thankfully the performances have stepped up recently, we finally got a good result and performance on Tuesday. Perhaps we’ll go on a little run without any real pressure apart from professional pride and see if that can land us in the top 10 and the very late stages of the Europa conference.

Tuesday was a very important result as had we lost we’d be very much looking over our shoulders. Now we can glance upwards again given that we look to be in a bit of form. Another clean sheet against Leeds and perhaps the defence will gain more confidence so every time we do concede a corner we don’t automatically think goal!

I was getting quite concerned until second half West Ham

and then we followed that up with a v competent performance against wolves

two teams fighting to get into the top 6 where the performances said we should have won both games

So to say we haven’t played well this year just isn’t right.

...both those teams were poor!!!

We put in a much better performances against those two teams, but they  were either complacent or not the quality you would expect from a club challenging for a top 6 position.

That’s just a kop out reply

West Ham bossed the game for the first half an hour and we looked hopeless. We then got lucky with the pen and somehow took hold of the game by the scruff of the neck. At wolves we managed to comfortably control the game although obvs we didn’t create enough clear openings.

Saying that the opposition played poorly is too easy - that could be for a number of reasons and uppermost in that is usually that the other team have played well and stopped them from playing their game.

The thread title needs editing

Some would say to hang on ……..  leeds is a complete ‘no idea what happens’ and Arsenal away is usually a defeat ….
