Escape Rooms

Is anyone aware of any escape rooms in Leicester, south Leicestershire or north Northamptonshire that have 2 identical escape rooms, so that 2 groups can compete against each other at the same time?

Ive been to a couple of different Escape Room locations but not seen 2 identical rooms like you suggest. I wouldnt see the point in having 2 identical rooms. Surely you can send one group in then the 2nd group after. Wouldnt be beneficial to the owners of the escape room to have identical rooms surely?

 

I mean i could be wrong and there is such an escape room. Would be a cool thing to go up against someone at the same time

As kingcarr says, I'd be surprised in you find one with two identical rooms. If you've got two groups, you could maybe have them do two different rooms at the same time and then swap over afterwards?

 

It should all be timed so the group that completes their two rooms in the quickest overall combined time wins?

My best buddy runs an escape room in Nuneaton. I went to 1 in Leicester 3 or 4 years ago that had 2 identical rooms, but I think Covid has seen its demise.

I think it was quite popular as 2 teams could compete against each other, rather than waiting around for another to finish.

When you ‘escaped’ there was a ‘throne’ for the winning team to sit on / take photos and wait for the other team to finish.

Was ideally hoping to find a similar setup again.

Isn't every room in Nuneaton an "escape room"?
