Cycle Park?

Want to use my bike a bit more and probably thinking of cycling to the ground fairly regularly this year. 

 

Anyone else cycled to match days much? Club says they've 20 secure spaces at the "Cycle Park", that sounds immensely few for a 30k seater stadium, even if we don't cycle much as a population. 

 

Do they fill up quickly and if so how safe should it be locking it up on the railings by the river off the side of the West Stand / Car Park A?

I can’t say I’d want to try and get away from the stadium in a 30k+ crowd with a bike. Sounds like a bloody nightmare. Better locking it up around the DMU campus and walking surely?

there is  cycle spaces behind the east stand its always full after 2.30 though, people then secure their bikes to the metal fence behind the bike stand , there was a lot more people cycling to the brentford game though maybe because of the lovely weather  fuel costs etc ,so there wasnt a lot of spaces to be found on the fence , ive always secured my bike to the fence (east stand) without any problems

Agree with above from lcfc old boy. Cycle spaces behind East Stand or the fence next to it. Never had a problem.

 

It's a nightmare trying to walk with a bike in the crowd after the game though so usually stand and chat by the bikes for a bit whilst crowd clears so you don't save as much time as you think.

Stick it in one of the side entrances between the houses on & around Filbert Street. Will cost you a tanner or maybe a shilling but I might be a but out of touch with prices.
