We didn’t have any more of a hand in their survival than any other team who they took points off.

In their run in they beat us, West Ham, Man Utd and Chelsea - we didn’t give them points they beat us. 
Do you think any of the West Ham, Chelsea or Man Utd fans still bang on about having a hand in keeping them up?

I foolishly named my son Brendan (after Rodgers) as he was born just after we won the FA Cup.

Regret it now as I hate him and want him gone.

Not a big fan of our manager either to be honest.

If you did actually name him Brendan then you still have options:

Brendan Fraser

Brendan Behan (irish poet)

Or what I think you should go with when people ask

Brendan Benson.

I am so 'meh' it would hurt if I had feelings (I have been dead inside for years). Until this season, I have always been generally Rodgers In. But he so obviously not only doesn't care, but almost seems to be trying to sabotage the team to get his payout.

 

I have Family Stand tickets, and my wife is adamant the kids can't go to games on school nights. In the past, it meant just calling a dad with a less adamant wife, and going with them. I did that for the Man U game, but I didn't even try to get someone with kids to go to the Forest game with me, and just skipped it, and have let a neighbor use the tickets for the Leeds game tomorrow (we have tickets to Jon Richardson, which had been postponed because of COVID, and I didn't even wince about missing the game).

 

I have bought tickets to the League Cup tie (outside the Family Stand), but am resigned to us losing. Although part of me wants us to win the League Cup and be in Europa Conference League and the Championship the same season.

So predictable and annoyingly avoidable. And yet, still easily solvable. 

 

For a real-life, current equivalent: LCFC is the UK and Rodgers is Liz Truss.
