Ward:   had a great game. I might have posted about him not having the quality to a Premier League keeper

Amartey:  contributed to lots of clean sheets recently.  Athough I have defended him a lot in the past, I might have posted recently that we have to move him on.  I might also have said that he gives away at least one, normally three, great chances a game.

Rodgers:   I moved to Rodgers out as it became clear he couldno longer coach the 0layers at his disposal

The team:   maybe they are a professional football team after all.

Soumare.... actually I'm still doubtful.

Nowt wrong with being wrong.

Takes a big person to admit it.

We've not fully turned the corner, but hopefully we finish the World Cup break with a bang.

I was furious once when we signed some Forest supporting donkey of a centre back.

I was wrong about that!

Thanks for creating a new thread to tell us.

You're welcome.

On the other hand, I haven't slagged off Tielemans, Barnes, Maddison, Justin etc that many have.

To be honest most football fans are too quick to label someone useless, but they’re also too quick to label someone great. Short periods of form are generally ignored.

That being said I thought I’d got enough evidence over time to suggest that Amartey would never make a PL footballer. I’m amazed that he’s at the heart of a defence that’s only conceded one goal in four games (and the goal itself was a direct free kick against Man City).

I still feel that it’s too much of a challenge to my logic, based on what I’ve seen over time, to suddenly do a 360’ and say that DA is great. I do, however, hope that he continues to decisively and categorically prove me wrong. I love it when players do that as ultimately it saves us a lot of money in the transfer market.
