Morecambe FC Takeover - are the EFL asleep at the wheel?

Recommended Posts

So Morecambe FCs takeover is expected to by a 20yr old business man with what appears to be very limited company assets and what looks like an illegal ponzi scheme funding him.

All of the information which suggeats this is publicly available and yet the takeover looks certain....

To a certain extent I am playing devils advocate. But, is this particularly different to other ownerships? Very few have actually made money legitimately.

im wondering if the football league just don’t have the financial clout to turn down this sort of investment.. they need any money they can get to come into the league. They can’t afford to take the moral high ground that the premier league does.

The ending reads like satire, but the first part sounds sincere. This post has hurt my brain lol
