Janx Posted 2 December 2005 Posted 2 December 2005 None of that has ever happened to me.... perhaps you and your mates have just got those types of faces? and YES if you actually got yourself OUT of Nightclubs and footie grounds and had a good l;ook around you, you will see that Leeds is in fact one of the countrys most cultured and cosmopolitan..
Guest Gist Posted 2 December 2005 Posted 2 December 2005 You tend to be safer wearing team colours , as hooligans know your not there for trouble. However, I had a look at the link posted above and there was some talk about Leeds being a bit indiscriminate. So trust your judgement on that but as a rule team colours are much safer than Stone Island tops. Things should be ok round the ground due to policing. Just avoid the city centre, as Leeds is a violent shithole on the best of days. I dont think that will be the case on saturday any fan they know who is leicester they will me mad at, to them we are all scum although only a few tw*ts did it
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 December 2005 Posted 2 December 2005 and YES if you actually got yourself OUT of Nightclubs and footie grounds and had a good l;ook around you, you will see that Leeds is in fact one of the countrys most cultured and cosmopolitan.. Will admit, I think its quite a nice place. Ive never had any troube and i've been out there countless times. The city isn't dirty and I think it is quite cultured. Even managed to call a bouncer there a total willy puller and get away with it .
Strokes Posted 2 December 2005 Posted 2 December 2005 Feck em, I don't care if they are mad about what we did(although i didn't). They're a bunch of fecking hypocrytes, what they did at the george best minutes silence was unforgivable. They have no right to get upset about that taunt now.
Frenzied Posted 2 December 2005 Posted 2 December 2005 and YES if you actually got yourself OUT of Nightclubs and footie grounds and had a good l;ook around you, you will see that Leeds is in fact one of the countrys most cultured and cosmopolitan.. That was a long time ago, about 11 years. So maybe it's changed. *Bugger I'm getting old* And it wasn't the chavy kind of Crystals-type nightclub, where you might expect that kind of violence. Anywho, London (where I'm from, although Leicester originally), is cultured and cosmopolitan, not to say metropolitan, suave and highly sophisticated. Leeds is surely but a husk of our great capital. *Waves fist full of £50 notes northward*

Excuse my ignorance everyone, but what exactly did 'we' do?
john_lcfc Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 Excuse my ignorance everyone, but what exactly did 'we' do? a section of our fans sang " we heard you ran from the turks" last game we met and they went mental.. you see a proportion of their fans sing the Munich chant most games but one chant aimed at them and they threaten all leicester fans over the internet hypocrits
MADLEVEIN Posted 3 December 2005 Posted 3 December 2005 the jumped up leeds wanna-be hoolie is probably one of the scumbags who disrupted the george best remembrance at millwall last week and thinks that he has finally made it to the casual scene by showing his braveness. i would be quaking in my boots at meeting this individual who would surely give me the beating of my life. tosser!
