Brainy Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 I've been done for having a sig that is too large on a couple of occasions, yet it appears that users such as DavieG are allowed to have an absolutely massive picture. Is this special treatment because he's a longstanding and well respected member? It's about time someone said something like this. Can somebody do something about apexgeo's as it stretches the page
lildave3 Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 It's about time someone said something like this. Can somebody do something about apexgeo's as it stretches the page I know! I only read half of his posts because the other half is cut off
lcfc_jme Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Are you suggesting there is a link between sig size and penis size I reckon it's more a compensation thing to be honest... I myself have been in trouble for having a sig which was too long, as I think KilworthFOX was not long ago as well. Others have sigs which are surely too long but haven't been pulled up on it (to the best of my knowledge). Any reason in particular for this? (this is not a personal attack on davieG - I have absolutely no problem with him whatsoever and think he is a genuinely nice man from talking to him.)
Brummie-FOX Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Well i'll never forget the time my sig was removed - 'twas a Derby badge
Daggers Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 My current sig is small, perfectly formed...but unfortunately firing blanks.
lcfc_jme Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Well i'll never forget the time my sig was removed - 'twas a Derby badge I remember that one. T'was after we played them at Pride Park was it not and there were 3 or 4 threads causing a lot of controversy in the LCFC Forum on here wasn't it?
Brummie-FOX Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Me and you had a mini bet on the Man Utd/Chelsea match. I lost - so I had to have a Derby badge in my sig saying ''Pride of the East Mids''
lcfc_jme Posted 11 March 2007 Posted 11 March 2007 Me and you had a mini bet on the Man Utd/Chelsea match. I lost - so I had to have a Derby badge in my sig saying ''Pride of the East Mids'' Aye yes I'm begining to remember this a little bit more now. But wasn't it removed for being inappropriate and inflammatory around that sort of time period?
Master Fox Posted 23 July 2007 Posted 23 July 2007 Ric Flair has once again managed to create one of the worst signatures of all time.
Kent Fox Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Would someone be kind enough to either point me to a link on here, or to an external total idiot's guide to creating a sig? I did my last one as a first effort but cannot for the life of me remember how I did it I can do the background, but can't get any pics into the background layer. I'd ask the King of the Sigs, Daggers, but he's swearing at me alot right now. Please, please, keep it simple, chaps / chapesses.

But keep up the flattery and Daggers may take pity on you.

Kent Fox Posted 25 July 2007 Posted 25 July 2007 Have you tried creating a new layer to put the picture on? Yep I just can't get it to go on. What's really pi$$ing me off is that I did it with my current sig!! That's why I need a total numpties guide..

Thanks, Stez. I have got access to pictures on Photobucket, I just can't get them into my new sig background. I REALLY need a guide. Even some of the ones on the 'net don't help
stez Posted 26 July 2007 Posted 26 July 2007 This is just a bump to get it seen you'll need a canvas (this is the way i do one anyway) so i suggest: -you right click on, for example, your current sig and 'save image' -then open that image, which should be saved somewhere on your pc, in paint, or picture it, and using the cut and paste options just cut the image out to leave yourself with, effectivly, a blank canvas where picture used to be. -if you're in picture it (which i suggest you should be) you can the go around the net looking fo suitable pictures saving these to your pc and inserting them into the picture it project you have open (which would be the blank canvas) -the using the tools at the top of the page, you can cut around the parts of the images you've inserted to keep the bit you want (by cut and pasting) and discarding the rest, then place them on your blank canvas. -you can pinch a suitable back ground to use etc -but remember; always cut and paste the pictures in the order they are to be stacked on your canvas, ie background first, then steve walsh with a dog on top of the canvas. basically you want to sort out the blank canvas, and mess around for a bit and find out what does what and how. hope this helps....
Flynny Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 Is my sig too massive for people on 800x600? If it is I'll boot it.

stez Posted 4 August 2007 Posted 4 August 2007 Doesn't help me. if you read between the lines, it probably tells you i'm not fussed about your sig either way. i'm more fussed by peoples' rudeness
