Ohh God dammit are you my very own stalker?   You put me in mind of a certain priest………. I’m sure you’ll get that.

Look, barring an incredible collapse, Enzo walking out, fire, flood a bad Clam or something, we SHOULD get promoted. From here it would be a very poor show to fail.

Sorry - but you seem to have a desire to speak for all of us, and it's a pet hate of mine. You're just very vocal today and I've left you alone otherwise :) I assure you it isn't personal.

FWIW, I agree with you, we will go up.... but my point stands - plenty are still nervous.

I’m not offended at all. I find your dedication to this matter admirable - much like I find a dog savaging a bone with relentless enthusiasm fascinating. I am merely suggesting that I think most of us do know that we will be promoted - not speaking for everyone, just as you weren’t when you said that you though quite a number didn’t know or think this. That too would qualify as speaking for others. Easily done, no offence meant.

Keep pointing it out. I will try to do better. Of course I could have multiple personalities and have been referring to myself 🤣

Anyway I’m suffering from a bout of Covid, feeling a little weary and useless, so I may have been a little OTT today. Point taken - AGAIN.

I'm sorry to hear of that ARM, get better soon.

You might have missed the many nervous souls convinced the end of the world is nigh around here lately, but I assure you they exist; I've not dreamt them up.

Cheers. I’ll be fine. Got too much to do not to be. The lack of energy is just, how shall I put it, doing me nut in.

As for the end of the world, it’s always nigh. A stray rock, a solar flare, a lack of flare, a dropped vial, a hasty button press and it’s all over - as it probably will be next season. 🤣🤣

It’s natural for fans calibrate their expectations according to recent performance rather than historical norms.

Does it make us “entitled”? Maybe but that’s human nature I’m afraid.

Show me a fan who gets relegated and says “I’m actually really happy because we’re still over performing against our historical average over our 130-year history”.

This season was always going to be a damp squib after a decade in the PL. A promotion push would feel completely different after a decade in the Championship.

Having said all that I do think it will get more exciting as the season ends.

I think there is a sense of entitlement hanging around which obviously stems from our demise. I think the added

I also think some people are taking for granted how well this is going. I'm inclined to think that if we'd not started so well, which was quite possible given the downward spiral we were on, and then slowly come into our own and were in more of a 'race' that there would be a little more positivity around the club.

When I've had the chance to see us play this season, I have loved every minute of being there. Being at the KP and hearing the Post-Horn Gallop makes me feel all warm and fuzzy because it's part of who I am. But like many, it's because I don't get to experience this very often. The club is nothing without those who choose to be there week in week out, but it does seem like some don't even enjoy being there, which is very odd when you're spending hundreds of pounds a year to do so.

With that said, I do think we are in a unique spot as a club and fanbase with what has happened over the last 10 years. Moments can be special no-matter how well the team is doing in the bigger picture, but it's always going to be difficult for us to experience the wider collective feeling we all had between the early days of the title run and the FA Cup.
