I agreed with what you like to see but swap Kisnorbo with Williams in midfield or Hughes if he is fit

Were playing crewe, who arnt brilliant, so we surely can "afford" to play sheehan. We need to play 2 wingers, and we need to play all out for a win. If hughes is fit, i wouldnt mind sacrificing sylla, because maybs and stearman are better.

Douglas needs to be dropped. As does Sylla, but as you can see there isn't a ready made replacement for him. And Hamill is too ineffective for me.

I was looking forward pre season to seeing the two Swede's play in the center of defence, with Paddy still serving his suspension, i don't see why Johansson should sit out and still not get a game.

Bench: Logan, Stearman, Hammil, Williams, De Vries

Completly drop Rab, Dion, Kisnorbo and Sylla, especially Rab to show him how he's got to pull his act together if he wants to play/stay at the club. Start with Sheehan at left back and move Maybury back to the right. Play Tiatto down the left and Smith down the right with Danny not as attacking as Ryan, allow Tiatto to feed along the ground to Hume and have Hughes pull forward just behind the attackers to add some more substance - at Stoke our attackers were doing a lot of the creation work themselves and didn't have a 100% solid backup to play too, Hughes or even Williams would provide that. Finally get Nils in the middle of defense where he is meant to play and finally get the defensive four that impressed me massivley at the Inter Milan game in July.
