We're talking about the small margins that win or lose games. The point is it's mistakes from all players at different times which is costing us. Why don't we just clear our lines when under pressure and regroup. These issues take time to fix on the training ground. Time we don't have as the league has started so we have to hope they learn quickly.

Otherwise it's going to be a long season. Today was 2 points lost rather than 1 gained we can't continue doing this.

 

On the plus side our patterns are getting better at keeping possession we just need to keep improving our attacking play.

He's probably triggered a contract extension recently

I think he could be a very useful player if he was actually being played in a position he's suited to.

 

Asking him to be a striker is counterproductive. So often, when he's been up top on his own, he's nowhere near in position for a break because he's playing like a midfielder.

Where is this exactly?

 

He can’t play on the wings as so slow and couldn’t take on a FB from the local U7’s.

 

You’ve already mentioned that he’s not a striker.

 

Let’s say it’s at 10, he isn’t creative, all he does are lazy bounce passes and isn’t even athletic enough to help with a press (not that we ever seem to be able to set up that way).

 

It’s ok to admit that Reid was and always will be known as a hideous signing.

 

A PL signing that doesn’t make the starting 11 in League One.
