I don't think there's that much messing. Many on the British right care more about America than they do Britain and would happily hand over the Falklands to Argentina if Trump wants it. You only had to see those on the British right practically begging Starmer to follow America into the Iran war to see that.

Maybe right wing politicians but your 'no surrender' man on the street reform voting types will be very conflicted as they probably agree that Britain is being colonized by Muslims but have great pride in Britain clinging on to the Falklands and Northern Ireland. If only Matt P was still with us he could let us know.
