Yeah there’s the team with our best players later and the team with shite, youth and players recovering from injury earlier

I wouldn’t say we need as many signings as the last time we were in the Championship, but my god, the striker and central midfield positions are in desperate need to be freshened up.

This is the secret sauce. Don`t improve the team, just weaken the competition. These guys...

Think Alves is better as a 10 than a winger. Not sure he has the pace to go past a fullback the same way Fatawu, Steph or Monga can, and ended up losing the ball a few times. But like that he worked hard to win it back, battled well and kept trying things, think he’ll be a good alternative to Bilal if he stays and should get plenty of minutes still. 
 

Also think Evans is better centrally as a striker. Again worked hard and quite physical given his age, but struggled to get by his man who was one of their better players in fairness. Think he’s a little further off breaking through but still good enough to be 3rd choice striker and starting for the u21’s, which isn’t bad at 16/17.

Alves often thrives in more space afforded to wingers. I still think his best position is at LW in a system that let's him drift centrally. 

 

In a fluid 3 behind the striker with Monga and Fatawu (Mavididi potentially as the 9) could be ideal for him.
