If I'm the Arsenal manager and we're on pens in the CL final there's no way any of these players come to me to volunteer for taking a pen. It's MY decision who is taking the pens and in what particular order. 

Arteta let a defender who never took a pen in his life to step up as the last taker. Arteta should have been sacked today. Imo he'll be sacked in June.

Its hard to be too critical because they have just won the league (albeit in the most boring, negative & fraudulent way)..

I’m so pleased arsenal lost and for Gabriel to miss it makes it even better!!

I think the club and their fans are the most hateful in Europe. PGMOL won the league for them.

Completely disagree.

 

I loathe Arteta but he's not to blame. Anyone can take a penalty. It's a 12 yard kick. It's much more important to get 6/7 lads who are happy to handle the pressure than necessarily the 6/7 most technically gifted.

 

Eze can do things with a football that Gyokeres or Rice couldn't dream of. Eze didn't even hit the target while Gyokeres and Rice scored theirs with ease.

What do you mean anyone can take a penalty? Teams prior to any final have training sessions for the possibility the game will go to penalties. There are dedicated penalty takers. Both the players and the goalkeepers have video training and analytics of the opposition regarding penalties. 

That said, Gabriel going to Arteta after 120mins and saying to him "I feel good, I'll take the last penalty even though I haven't taken one in my whole career" is unheard of, it's bonkers and a sackable offense by Arteta.
