There's having a bit of a go and not having a go at all, you can pose a threat going forward and not be massively wide open at the back.

The TNT pundits were a lot more impressed with that Arsenal performance than I was - typically good defensive effort but it looked to me like they got more or less what they deserved. Time wasting in the 46th minute, one shot in the entire second half. Fair enough if you want to play that way but the margins are mighty fine and there is always going to be the risk that you fall on the wrong side of them.

 

Keown on the verge of tears talking about how it's such a shame because Gabriel's his favourite player  top drawer stuff from Fletch and the gang all night as per usual

I find the criticism of Arsenal for being boring a little bit funny. Under Wenger they were constantly getting pelters for being soft-centred, weak and incapable of winning ugly.

I thought they played it as good as they could tbh trying to hold onto the 1 nil was the best option against a team as good as PSG

Ref was spot on for the penalty appeal IMO. Six of one and half a dozen of the other. Both shoving and both went down. If you get that given against your team you'd be annoyed how soft it was. 

 

VAR was certainly correct not to intervene too.
