Think what you will, But it's a fact she was the Brains behind the rise of KP right from the beginning along with Vichai. 

It was Vichai and Susan making the big decisions up until the accident. 

The accident changed the dynamic at KP.  You now have a large board with Tops Mother and Brothers and Sisters. 

Who have little or no business experience.
