Hi all,

I'm keeping my season ticket but my friend is cancelling his. He has ordered his the previous year through my account and paid me the money for it. Today, even though I sent a cancellation email I have had a order conformation for both tickets and now cant get through to the ticket office.

Has anyone else had this, what should I do?

When I cancelled mine earlier in the season I also got a ‘thank you for your purchase’ email as well, if that helps. No idea why but it’s LCFC so 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think if the season ticket is in your friend's name he has to cancel it himself even if it's through your account. My brother's ticket is in my account and whenever I've had to make changes (ie, moving seats), they've insisted that he consents personally rather than taking my word for it. If you can't get through on the phone I would email the ticket office and explain. They'll probably ask you to get your friend to call them himself.

Its through my own email but in his name, so ive emailed from the email the account is associated with. We changed the email before the season so i could deal with it all! So hopefully that isnt an issue.

I cancelled mine, still had a confirmation that the direct debit was renewed. Just to rub salt in the wound, that was about an hour after our relegation was confirmed...

I just cancelled the DD again and confirmed with the ticket office that it wouldn't re-process. Keep trying and you'll get through eventually - email is probably best though. Failing that, the general [email protected] email is much more responsive. In my experience, Jim (supporter services) who mans it has been the one positive aspect of dealing with the club over the past few years.

First DD payments wont come out til June so you've got plenty of time to get this resolved, imagine theres a lot of people with similar concerns all trying to get answers at once, currently.

Speak with Jim at the club. He’s probably the only staff member that works for the club that’s actually good at his job. He will sort this mess out for you. He does have a club email but I can’t remember what it is. Possibly could be on the main website?

Think that's a tad harsh, probably a lot of decent people work for the club constrained by middle managers and stupid policies.

Jim is ok, he’s shafted and not-my-job-mate’d lots of people. He’s also gone out of his way to help people.

There’s a big culture and process problem

If you think the football team is bad, then you're in for a shock dealing with the ticket office.

You'll be on hold and in the queue forever, I assume with so many other people trying to decipher their incompetence.

Jim wasn't that helpful to me, despite me actually trying to pay them money, he didn't respond.
