Craig Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 Leicester City from: Pressman; Makin; Keown; Dabizas; Wilcox; Scowcroft; Gemmill; Gudjonsson; Nalis; Benjamin; Dublin; Wright; Heath; Williams; Tiatto; Dawson; Harper No Stearman, and Dawsons in, so dunno how accurate that is

SilverFox Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 It would be very cool if Dawson did play, but given that he did a complete 90 minutes last night (and worked his bollox off) I doubt he will play tonight

A half fit Dawson will work harder, get stuck in more than all the players we have in the first team at the mo! Really hope he is involved tonight!

If he had a poor game because he was tired from last night, (where he took and also gave out a few knocks) the crowd would slate him and his chances of getting another go would be damaged. Subs bench and potentially the last 20 mins of the game...at the most, if at all.
Ric Flair Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 Sorry to put a dampener on things, but unless Dawson has been called in to the squad at the last minute there is no way he's playing tonight. The reason being is because the squad travelled down to Gillingham yesterday and Stevie was playing for the ressies then! His time will come, even Adams can't be that blind.

Ash Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 If Harper is fit, i would put him right wing for sure , Then Scowy upfront
Jonbluefox9 Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 If Harper is fit, i would put him right wing for sure , Then Scowy upfront 22775[/snapback] I would like to see Scowy given a run of games upfront with Tommy wright. I think Dublin and Connolly have had enough games together already and it's time to give some others a go.

Any striker needs service to score more goals.

Unfortunately Connolly hasn't been given the service as you said but I really think Dublin has performed better when he's been at the back.
Ash Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 Harper wasnt in the squad for the Gillingham game so i guess he wasnt fit
SilverFox Posted 28 September 2004 Posted 28 September 2004 As for Harper...impressive but I think there is a limit to the number of loans a club can take per season in this league...I don't think we can afford to waste them on players who do a wonderful impression of Lee Morris
