Guest Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Positive result for who? Those who want to pollute the atmosphere, giving the rest of us cancer in the process. Thanks.
Mark Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 It was better the other way. Dont think the club can make their minds up.
Guest Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 Like Benji says, the sooner it's banned full stop, the better.
kerryh Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 I agree - It's a public place it should be banned.
Anish Posted 1 October 2004 Posted 1 October 2004 This is all a bit unfair on smokers I think. The club are faffing about changing their minds after only 5 home games - how are smokers meant to know when/where they can smoke? I'm only playing devils advocate here - I don't smoke myself and prefer others around me not to smoke, but many fans do smoke and in some respects I have sympathy for them the way the club is messing them about.

dhermon Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 Permit marijuana smoking. 23739 it would help take the pain of watching a M.A managed side away
Guest Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 Permit marijuana smoking. 23739 it would help take the pain of watching a M.A managed side away 23777 I'm sure there was plenty going on during the Brazil/Jamaica game....
lumberjack Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 dont you think the whole walkers stadium experiance is traumatic enough without banning smoking for the Leicester faithfull? I know not every body at the ground smokes and maybe there should be smoke free zones such as the family stand etc but a full ban will just further anger an already disgruntled fan base.
Benji Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 Well done leicester city, you've ow got people smoking EVERYWHERE just back from match.... people smoking before games in seats.... yep like ur told people smoking half time in seats... yep as told people smoking in concourse all around me at half time yep thanks for that now we have it everywhere!

Signs were certainly up in the East Stand concourse saying no smoking. I doubt the club will tolerate it in a few games time. For those favouring a complete ban on smoking, this was discussed at the Fans Forum and the Forum took the decision not to do so at present. However there is going to be some further fan consultation about this later on this season so it may be seriously considered.
New England Fox Posted 2 October 2004 Posted 2 October 2004 Why did the PA keep saying that people could smoke in there seats before, during and after the game but not while the game is being played? Doesn't that totally contradict itself?
