syston_fox Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 douglas 7 - No complaints. Good handling and made a good save. No chance with goals. Please dont pass the ball accross you box when a sheff weds player is standing there though! maybury 5 - Playing a right footed player on the left is stupid. He cant cross with his left and that resulted in us losing possession in good positions. Sheehan or a new lb is needed. johansson 6 - didnt do much wrong as far as i could see. mccarthy 6 - as above stearman 7 - out MOTM. Great goal and willing to get forward hamill 3 - for a winger his crossing ability is appalling williams 5 - was ok. Would have been a six if he could take corners hughes 6 - nothing special but worked hard kisnorbo n/a - isnt a footballer so doesnt deserve a rating de vries 4 - marked out the game and should have scored at the end. Costly miss! hammond 6 - ran his socks off but there was little supply. gerrbrand 6 - did fine, no problems. fryatt 6 - didnt have much time Hume 6 - as above. Was never gonna succeed with the long ball being played to De Vries everytime
Tommeh Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 Douglas 6 ( some risky clearances but good save at the end) Maybury 6 Paddy mac 6 Ne johansson 5 Stearman 9 (amazing goal and never put a foot wrong, yet again) Williams 6 (He was covering for kisnorbo all over the pitch) kisnorbo 3 Hughes 5 ( He and williams obviously play well together and with joey out why not try it, obviously not) Hamill 3 Hammond 6 De vries 4 (If any premiership clubs were interested after spurs game that performance will put them off)
holly Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 douglas 7: didnt do to badly, still needs to work on kicking though maybury 7:did alright again, crosses he made in 2nd half were good shame nothing came from them macarthy 7: played alright not his best and not his worst, atleast he shows passion Nils EJ 7: didnt do much wrong Stearman 8: best player on the pitch today, crackin goal, shame dead leg wouldnt go, he gest better and better every week! hamill 2: worst player ever, i think he is scared he just gives the ball away and never makes a challenge, please dont put the shirt on ever again. hughes 5: started off well but then got infected by hamill and kisnorbo williams 6: looked good at times but then near end also got infected, needs to improve on corners aswell kisnorbo 2: makes me so angry i dont wanna comment hammond 7: never stops trying, shouldnt of been taken off de vries 5: HOW??? he plays a good game against spurs but today he is shocking, he goes down like a sack of spuds! and does he never think about wearing studs??? subs: gerrbrand 5: having an injury has not done him good, he didnt look as sharp and confident as he did before hume 5: shouldnt of been played in midfield but he got stuck in fryatt 5: didnt have enough time to make an impact, but from what saw looks like he will do well! Fox Genius Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 douglas 6 - Had littel to do maybury 6 - Nothing great johansson 4 - error for second goal and no imagination in second half. Clearly not a left back mccarthy 6 - Steady performacne stearman 8 - Clearly out bets player today hamill 3 - would help if our wind men took peoplr on and got in good crosses - Didn't do either, Okay so he is young but doesn't appear to show potential williams 5 - Okay hughes 6 - composed kisnorbo 2 Clearly teh worst playter on the pitch maybe if he just won teh ball as well as giving it away it wouldn't be so bad. de vries 4 - MArked out of teh match hammond 5 - should have made more of teh space given two and three people marking MDV throughout gerrbrand 6 - steady fryatt 6 ( looks pacey and showed desire) I can take getting beaten by decent teams such as Reading, but SWeds showed today that they are a poor side, but they were still better than we were. The Reverend Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 Douglas 6- Hardly tested. Couldnt really have done a lot with the goals Stearman 8- Brilliant goal, great until unlucky injury meant he had to be took off McCarthy 6- Looked his usual solid self Johansson 6- Didnt do a lot wrong Maybury 2- Awful, didnt look interested and not up for the battle Hughes 5- Didnt get a lot of the ball Kisnorbo 0- The worst footballer i have ever seen Williams 5- Made the wrong decisions at crucial moments. Solid though as he continually had to cover for Kisnorbo Hamill 0- The second worst footballer i have ever seen. Actually, perhaps joint worst with Kisnorbo De Vries 0- Shocking as he has been for 100% of league games Hammond 5- Looked lively and sharp, but didnot get enough service. Gerrbrand- Looked solid with his usual cool head. Hume- Same as Hammond Fryatt- Same as Hammond
martyn Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 Maybury has been nothing short of woeful for some considerable time. What has happened to him?
C-man Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 Maybury has been nothing short of woeful for some considerable time. What has happened to him? He's being played at left back. He's terrible there. Has anyone thought that the booing of kisnorbo MIGHT, just might, have had an effect on him today?
martyn Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 The thing Kisnorbo suffers with is a general lack of talent. He's not good enough for this level of football.

dodds Posted 14 January 2006 Share Posted 14 January 2006 He's being played at left back. He's terrible there. Has anyone thought that the booing of kisnorbo MIGHT, just might, have had an effect on him today? Well thats great. The guy not only lacks confidence to go out there and stick it to the fans that boo him, but he also lacks talent. And worse still when our clubs done and busted and forever in a lower league because of fools like him he will be back in Oz still beleiving he was alright. GET RID. Scow Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 Douglas - 6 Didn't have much to do in all fairness. No chance with the goals. Maybury - 4 Woeful distribution throughout. Kept resulting to long hopeful balls towards Hammond and de Vries throughout. McCarthy - 6 A solid performance. Johansson - 5 Fine at centreback, pushed over to left back for the second half. Replicated Maybury with those long hopeful balls. Stearman - 8 Great goal, and his confidence was visibly lifted by it. Linked up well with Hughes down the right and defended with composure. Hughes - 5 Fairly lively in the opening stages of the game, but he lost his way as the game wore on. Saw plenty of the ball without much effect. Williams - 4 The old Williams returned after our good start. Workrate was lacking for large parts and didn't really want to be involved in the second half. Kisnorbo - 2 The only use he had was that he could take a fairly long throw. He dallied on the ball too much, which led to being disposessed on a number of occasions. His distribution was shocking, and we're literally talking about 5 yard passed not finding their targets. His lack of awareness and pathetic positional sense left the back 4 exposed on a number of occasions, and also allowed Wednesday players to have plenty of time on the ball. Those who argue he's a ball winner, he couldn't even do that. Hamill - 2 Why? He was just plain awful. Lightweight, small, and not particularly quick. He offers the team nothing. de Vries - 5 He was subject to many fouls from their central defenders, but the ref refused to penalise them. The service given to him was poor, which was a stark contrast to the Spurs game. In the first half, he was given balls over the top to chase! We're bloody clueless at times. Hammond - 5 Worked hard, ran the channels well, but lacked the service. Subs: Gerrbrand - 6 Didn't see much of the game as Wednesday were content to sit back in the second half. Fryatt - 6 Hard to judge him with a brief apperance. Looked lively in and around the box, but the ball never fell to him to have a clear opportunity on goal. Hume - 5 Anonymous for large parts. Only remember him having one screwed shot wide.

Ultra Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 Douglas 7 (couple of good saves, no chance with either goal, hardly did anything wrong) Stearman 7 (EXCELLENT goal, looked good before the injury) McCarthy 8 (marked Tudgay out of the game, looked solid all afternoon) Johansson 4 (went missing for the second goal and was dire when moved to left-back) Maybury 4 (distribution was shocking) Hughes 5 (least worst of an abysmal bunch, at least put in the effort) Kisnorbo 3 (couldn't even pass the ball five yards was woeful even by his standards) Williams 3 (lazy ****wit, never got into the game) Hamill 3 (had a couple of shots but did nothing else of note) Hammond 6 (at least looked ready to take players on and should NEVER have been took off) DeVries 4 (completely unrecognisable from last week) Subs Gerrbrand 6 (very rarely troubled) Hume 5 (did very little to change the game) Fryatt 5 (not the best of starts, but had very little service)
Nationwider Posted 15 January 2006 Share Posted 15 January 2006 Douglas 6 - had a quiet game, fairly efficient except for the odd eccentric moment Stearman 7 - our best player until he was forced off McCarthy 6 - did ok, did the simple things well enough Johansson 5 - looks better at CB but is still unconvincing Maybury 5 -as Stearman improves, Maybury just gets worse Hughes 5 - tried hard, but lacked pace himself and talent around him to back him up Kisnorbo 3 - I cannot see his worth to us. Another bad performance Williams 4 - two or three good passes, but otherwise was anonymous Hamill 5 - he at least tried to make things happen, but ultimately wasn't good enough again Hammond 5 - the usual 100% commitment, but he cannot play with his back to goal DeVries 4 - oh dear Subs Gerrbrand 6 - fairly sound Hume 5 - didn't do much Fryatt 5 - quick, didn't do much
