One of my mates at uni was a massive, massive fan.

To be fair, I like some of the songs... others I don't.

Charmless Man (Blur) is a song about Brett from Suede.

(Is it Brett? Brett Andersen? Or am I barking up the wrong tree)

No your right. It is brett anderson. Suede were hugely important at the start of brit pop. Anderson with bernard butler wrote some of the best songs of the time. Damon albarn and brett from suede were both after justine from elastica, hence the song...though i have never heard that theory before.x

Haha Suede. They had a great song out called 'Trash' which always reminds me of me and my sister trawling around Loughbough estate agencies trying to find a house to rent. Ahh those were the days

Any fans? I don't really know much about them but I love Animal Nitrate.

I love Suede. 'Coming Up' is my favourite Suede album (not that there are many to choose from!), my only problem with it is it only lasts about 40 minutes.

Worth picking up if you can find it in a bargain bin somewhere, though.

I just think their sound is better left in the nineties, doesn't last into this century like Blur does. They sound so dated now.
